Iron & Recovery

A tow truck simulator and towing business tycoon for PC, covering roadside work, heavy recovery and equipment transport. Work the calls yourself, rig every load by hand, and grow a one-truck operation into a company that runs without you.

What you'll do

Four systems, one world

Recovery, by hand

Operate rollbacks, wreckers, booms, outriggers and winches yourself. Choose anchors and attachments, reeve the blocks, and stay inside rated working loads. When rigging fails, real forces caused it.

  • Winch cable tension
  • Drum layers
  • Rated loads

Trucks that work like trucks

Air brakes with real pressure, hydraulics that run sluggish until they warm up, drivetrains that wear. Maintenance follows actual miles, engine hours and PTO hours, and skipping it raises the risk.

  • Air & hydraulic systems
  • Component wear
  • Manual coupling

A business, not a mission list

Set your rate sheets, win contracts and police rotations, hire and train drivers, run dispatch, and keep the books. AI competitors expand, merge and go under around you.

  • Dispatch
  • Employees
  • Accounting
  • Impounds

A world that remembers

A procedural, North American-inspired region of towns, grades and back roads. Weather turns roads to ice and fields to mud, and wrecks stay where they lie until someone clears them.

  • Persistent world
  • Seasons & weather
  • Deforming terrain

Your realism, your settings

Every system aims for maximum practical realism, and every system can be dialed back on its own. Turn off wear but keep full rigging. Hand dispatch to an AI manager and drive every call yourself. Or run the whole company from the office.
